24 students of our school joined the other 1,000 participants, mostly teenagers, broke the "Most People Painting Figurines" Guinness World Record on 30 March at the Sha Tin Racecourse.
Under the guidance of a local artist and children's book illustrator, the participants painted nearly 1,000 horse figurines, 951 of which were finally verified as successful by the adjudicator of Guinness World Records.
After verification, Guinness World Records adjudicator Louis Jelinek confirmed that a new Guinness World Records title had been earned for "Most People Painting Figurines," and presented the organizer, the Hong Kong Jokey Club (HKJC), with a certificate.
